02 Miyajima Pier

The Mihara Ferry Terminal is only five minutes on foot from JR Mihara Station, located at Mihara Port. There are high-speed and passenger boats that take tourists to nearby islands in the Seto Inland Sea such as Okunoshima or Ikuchijima. There is also a bicycle rental terminal inside the ferry terminal, so tourists can also visit said islands by bicycle.

03 Rental Kimono Miyajima Komachi

Rental Kimono Miyajima Komachi is a kimono rental store located a 5-minute walk from Miyajima Pier and a 6-minute walk to Itsukushima Shrine. It is located in an alleyway between the stores in Miyajima’s Omotesando Shotengai (the Main Street of Miyajima), so it is recommended to check the location beforehand with your smartphone or guidebook. The store rents out kimonos and yukata (thin summer kimonos), and you can also wear the borrowed kimonos to explore Miyajima.

04 EBISUYA Miyajima

EBISUYA Miyajima offers a service that allows visitors to tour Miyajima on a rickshaw (a traditional Japanese transportation method). The Ebisuya rickshaw not only takes you to your destination but also provides you with a tour guide who can tell you more about Miyajima and its attractions. There are four different courses to choose from, and each course has a maximum capacity of two people per rickshaw (two rickshaws will be used to guide three or more people).

05 Natural Hot SpringHonoyu

Natural Hot Spring Honoyu is a hot spring facility located in Ujina. There are thirteen different types of hot springs to enjoy, including an open-air bath where you can breathe in the fresh air, as well as a carbonated spring. There is also a sauna that is reasonably spacious and easy to spend time in, so you can warm your body to the core. In addition to the hot springs, the hotel also has a massage salon and a restaurant, so you can spend the whole day relaxing.

02 Pokemon Center Hiroshima

The Pokémon Center Hiroshima is a specialty Pokémon goods store located on the sixth floor of the Sogo Hiroshima Store, a department store in the center of Hiroshima City. Outside the store is a large objet d’art of Pikachu riding a Gyarados, which is a popular photo spot. Inside the store, you’ll find a wide variety of Pokémon goods, including plush toys, daily necessities, and Pokémon card-related goods that Pokémon lovers will love. There are also limited-edition Pokémon goods available only at the Hiroshima Pokémon Center, making it a popular spot for many tourists from Japan and abroad.

03 Andersen Hiroshima

Andersen Hiroshima is a bakery located on Hondori Shopping Street in Hiroshima. This famous bakery was founded in 1948 when the scars of the atomic bombing still lingered in the area. It has now expanded to include stores in Sweden. Hiroshima Andersen offers a variety of bread, from Danish pastry to savory breads, as well as wines carefully selected by sommeliers. They also stock Jean-Paul Hevin Chocolates and other excellent products selected from around the world. At the restaurant on the second floor, you can enjoy meals with freshly baked bread together with dishes made with ingredients produced in Hiroshima.

Round One is an amusement center located just off the Hondori shopping street in the center of Hiroshima City. You can easily recognise it from their symbol of giant bowling pins. Here, you can enjoy a variety of sports such as bowling, table tennis, and putting/pitching, as well as karaoke and UFO catchers. Karaoke and bowling can be reserved in advance, so get ready to enjoy them without waiting in line.

05 JUMP SHOP Hiroshima

The JUMP SHOP Hiroshima is located on Hondori, the main street in Hiroshima, and specializes in Weekly Shonen Jump goods. Outside the store, there is a large object of Son Goku from Dragon Ball hitting a Kamehameha wave, which is a popular photo spot. Inside the store, there are many goods from popular manga such as Dragon Ball and One Piece. The store also has goods from the popular anime “Demon Slayer”, so be sure to check it out.

06 Hiroshima PARCO

Hiroshima Parco is a fashion building located on Hon-dori in the heart of Hiroshima City. There are two buildings, the main building and the new building, both lined with fashion brands, general stores, and cafes. The stores feature a wide range of genres, from brands that can only be bought in Japan to brands popular in Europe and the United States, such as Levi’s. It is a place that is loved by people of all ages as a somewhere where fashion trends in Hiroshima originate. In addition to fashion brands, cafes such as tapioca drink stores, cookie stores, and matcha sweets stores are also popular.

07 Karaoke Kan

Karaoke-Kan is a karaoke building located on Hon-dori in the center of Hiroshima City. The latest models of karaoke machines are available, allowing you to sing anything from the latest songs to old favorites. It features private karaoke rooms, which can accommodate any number of groups from 1 to a maximum of 100 people, making it a popular place for everything from dates to large parties.

08 Hiroshima Okonomiyaki Monogatari

Hiroshima Okonomiyaki Monogatari is a tourist facility located just outside JR Hiroshima Station. 15 okonomiyaki stalls of various sizes are lined up around a large area that recreates the food stalls of Hiroshima from the 1960s. Each stall offers its own unique okonomiyaki and teppan-yaki. The customer base ranges from tourists both from Japan and overseas, to locals living in Hiroshima. Many of the stalls have English menus as well as English speaking staff.
