The Katsutani Snack Bread Shop, situated on Miyajima’s Omotesando shopping street, was established in 2018 as the first bread roll specialty shop on the island. They sell a huge variety of bread roll sandwiches, including the “Hiroshima Okonomiyaki Coupé Pain,” a miniature okonomiyaki sandwiched inside a bun, and the “Katsutani Ancoupé Pain,” a red bean paste sandwich that utilizes a recipe dating back to the turn of the 20th century when the business was still a wagashi (Japanese-style sweets) shop. Because part of the menu does not use any animal-derived ingredients, vegans can also dine with peace of mind
